Kimberly Baker-Genaw, M.D.

Program Director Department of Internal Medicine

Dr. Baker-Genaw grew up in northern Michigan. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed residency training at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr Baker-Genaw stayed on at HFH to serve as chief medical resident and then as senior staff. She has been involved in the department as the clerkship coordinator and associate program director since 1997. Dr Baker-Genaw was selected to be the program director in 2007.

Care Philosphy:  The foundations of my care are patient-physician communication, preventive health care, and patient education and participation in their own health care decisions.
